Society for New Communications Research Executive Director Jen McClure will present a keynote address entitled “The New Communicator” at the national conference of the Public Relations Institute of Australia on October 13th. In addition, Ms. McClure will deliver a presentation on new media ethics, and will discuss and debate the impact of social media and citizen journalism with fellow keynote presenter Allister Campbell, former director of communication and strategy for British Prime Minister Tony Blair.
With the overarching theme of “The New Communicator,” The PRIA National Conference 2008 will be held at the Esplanade Hotel in Fremantle, WA on October 13th and 14th. The event will feature a two day summit with six afternoon streams covering the latest industry developments, including exciting case studies from key sectors.
